Registering for the Sproochentest is straightforward once you know where to go. All bookings are handled online through the INLL's MyINL portal. Here is everything you need to know before you sign up.
Step 1 — Create a MyINL Account
Go to myinl.inll.lu and create a free account if you don't already have one. You'll need a valid email address. Your MyINL account is also used to register for INLL language courses, so it's worth setting up regardless.
Step 2 — Browse Available Exam Sessions
Once logged in, navigate to the Sproochentest section to see upcoming exam dates. Sessions are scheduled throughout the year at multiple venues across Luxembourg, including Glacis (Luxembourg City) and Belval (Esch-sur-Alzette). New dates are published on a rolling basis.
Step 3 — Choose Your Session and Pay
Select a date and location that suits you. The registration fee is €75, payable online at the time of booking. Payment is required to confirm your place — the spot is not reserved until payment is complete.
Step 4 — Confirmation and Exam Day Info
After payment, you'll receive a confirmation email with your exam details: date, time, location, and what to bring. Bring a valid photo ID (passport or ID card) on exam day. Arrive a few minutes early — late arrivals may not be admitted.
How Far in Advance Should You Register?
Popular sessions fill up quickly, especially in spring and autumn. It's advisable to register at least 4–6 weeks in advance. Check the INLL event calendar regularly for new dates.
Can You Reschedule or Cancel?
- Cancellation and rescheduling policies are set by the INLL — check your confirmation email for the specific terms
- Fees are generally non-refundable, but you may be able to transfer your booking to a later session
- Contact the INLL directly at (+352) 26 44 30 1 or via inll.lu for any booking issues
